The PoP1 Total Pack uses mods with the DOS format, it automatically downloads packages from popot.org.salvadorc17 wrote:Can you tell me how are stored the levels in Total Pack, those use DOS format??
I don't understand what you mean, apoplexy can only export and import DOS XML.salvadorc17 wrote:should i convert all them with apoplexy??
Off-topic, I was wondering about your usage of double question marks (??).salvadorc17 wrote:??
Yes i was talking about how to allow use total pack for snes, should i convert to apoplexy levels, after to snes format? or what to do.Norbert wrote:

I saw on GitHub that you're from Colombia, which, I think, makes your native language Spanish.
Are the double question marks a replacement for ¿...?
Or maybe it's just something you use to emphasize the sentence is a question?
Okay, I think I understand what you're trying to do.salvadorc17 wrote:Yes i was talking about how to allow use total pack for snes, should i convert to apoplexy levels, after to snes format? or what to do.
Yes, i have partially readed snes format in my tool, but seems those are uncompressed levels, also what i need to know is how to handle with custom levels.dat from the total pack, converting those to apoplexy or there is anything else to do?Norbert wrote:
Once you understand the uncompressed level files, you should be able to create new level files that Pr1SnesLevEd can import.
Finally, you could make a program to convert apoplexy XML to the SNES uncompressed level format.
Those work with uncompressed levels only, and this is how it always been.Norbert wrote: Pr1SnesLevEd has a File menu with "Export level..." and "Import level...".
Those menu entries export and import compressed levels.
A good start might be to ask David to add two additional menu entries, to export and import uncompressed levels.
Good; useful for salvadorc17.David wrote:Those work with uncompressed levels only, and this is how it always been.
Yes, i have looked inside exported ones, why not, the fime format does fit perfectly for them..David wrote: Those work with uncompressed levels only, and this is how it always been.
You didn't look inside the exported files, did you?
