It's impossible I think, we cannot do that with only a Hexadecimal editor.
For create a new sprite/Character/Animation it's like create a new game because it's very difficult to change and increase the memory of a SNES ROM.
Also the SNES ROM is only 1024ko the technology from 90's and now is very different, If you want to totaly change the game, the best way I think is to create a remake of the game with C language or somethink like that.

Yes, i agree, right now my only prince recreation is Prince monogame, that is based on Mac source code, and ported to c#, but i still preffer the snes sprites and tiles, do you know where i can get all those?

You were using japanese version??

Nop, I use the 0.smc rom ( it's the US version with some Hack Add from Kashlghnoon )

It's one of the few hidden texts in the game: viewtopic.php?f=122&t=3308#p13283

It looks more like a bear trap to me.

There is another thing that looks like a canceled trap: sprites 1478 to 1484.
It might be the thing that impales the prince on sprites 0746 to 0751.
(Or maybe it is used for the flame wall?)

And there is sprite 1346. I don't know what is it.

Is there an easy (to find :)) hex edit to make jumping through the mirror possible in all levels and at all locations?
By default it's a pretty useless tile for PoP1 for SNES mods.
