Re: Hacking the SNES ROM
It's impossible I think, we cannot do that with only a Hexadecimal editor.
For create a new sprite/Character/Animation it's like create a new game because it's very difficult to change and increase the memory of a SNES ROM.
Also the SNES ROM is only 1024ko the technology from 90's and now is very different, If you want to totaly change the game, the best way I think is to create a remake of the game with C language or somethink like that.

It's one of the few hidden texts in the game: viewtopic.php?f=122&t=3308#p13283spartacus735 wrote:Also, what is the signification of this blue japan fence ?
In that topic, Norbert posted what the text means.
Only if they left the necessary codes in. Otherwise these are just images.spartacus735 wrote:Do you know if it is possible to re-add the Forbidden/canceled stuff-trap into the rom/pr1snesleved ?

Re: Hacking the SNES ROM
It looks more like a bear trap to me.salvadorc17 wrote:Only that thing, seems is like a broken chomper debris, after loose floor collision,
There is another thing that looks like a canceled trap: sprites 1478 to 1484.salvadorc17 wrote:i thought you was talking in plural..
It might be the thing that impales the prince on sprites 0746 to 0751.
(Or maybe it is used for the flame wall?)
And there is sprite 1346. I don't know what is it.
