I made it to the gate at 1:01 (yesterday), but the gate was closed.
Apparently I needed to go down faster.
This is a difficult level/mod, because it's barely possible to hop under these gates before they close - even for you.

Basically three ways I could've figured out I had to reach that gate faster. By:
1. using a level editor,
2. using the N/U/H/J cheat keys to look into other rooms,
3. trying things over and over until I noticed changes in certain rooms.

Unfortunately, while in my opinion playing without a level editor and without cheats is the most fun, it takes so much time...
Both levels I did finish (up to now) I finished with the help of a level editor.
Lots of mazy levels in this mod, for some levels a level editor is almost a must have.

Fun to check the rest of level 1.

[Edit: Man, level 1 is very difficult. Good thing I didn't keep trying it, because I would've never finished it. So many gates that are almost down and the prince can only just make... ]

I tried to enforce different kind of player's abilities. So, the first level requires being fast and the 12th for example some tricks knowledge and good level orientation. Don't hesitate to try other levels if you stuck, there is no need to play it start to finish.

Of course you can do whichever ones your want, I just won't look if it's one I want to play.

hmm... Level 9 need practice. To take LP you need know a trick probably unknown
Level 10 is toughest (To take LP is tricky, unknown trick)
Level 13 not need many practice, but levigation timing is bit hard for you (my opinion). To get LP is tricky (probably unknown trick)

There are also potions to obtain. I believe 3HP is enough, let me test that.

EDIT: At 3:15 you can go down without loss of health but you have to be fast if you want to pass the gate.
