Where did the name come from?

Why is the editor called "Apoplexy"?

I wanted an existing word with "pop" (Prince of Persia) in it.
Almost 100 words matched the grep (see below), so I tried "pople" (Prince of Persia level editor).
Since even "apople" (a Prince of Persia level editor) matched, I decided to go with apoplexy, the shortest match.
If only I knew what the x and y stand for. ;)

Maybe they could refer to the way everything is positioned with absolute X/Y coordinates?

"Apoplexy" is really a big disease cause, you should consider a more friendly name next time xd...
