Hi everybody!

My name is Vladimir and I have been huge fan of classic PoP games for more than 20 years and I finally decided to join the community :)

Now, I have a question. Are custom levels still popular?I mean, how many people are likely to play the new ones?Is it generally worth it to try my luck with it?

That's it for now, see you around :)

Hi there!

Welcome to PoP community :)

I think that custom levels are still popular, at least in this community. I don't know how many people play each mod, maybe there is a way to know that info with Total Packs, you can download it here: http://www.princed.org/downloads/

There are lot of kind and wise people here, and i'm sure they can help you with your questions. If you haven't played any mod yet, maybe someone can make a list of mods in increasing level of difficulty.

You can also try to re-discover some tricks or making a mod.

Good luck!

Thanks for answering :)

I already started creating a mod, apopplexy is great and easy to use.Overall, after creating Tomb Raider levels, this looks relatively simple :).I am also looking forward to play other mods :)

The PoP modding community is very small, and only one mod has been popular outside the community, namely 4D Prince of Persia.
Within the community, Repetition of Time is another well-known mod.
Still, even if only one person posts recordings of playthroughs of your levels on YouTube, that may be rewarding enough.
What I personally enjoyed most about seeing playthroughs of my levels is how things were solved differently from what I intended.
It's almost a guarantee that someone finds a shortcut or solves something very different from what you expected to happen.
