Back after a long time...

Post by the_mad_joob »

Yo there...

Hope Popuw.com will rest in peace.
Anyway, it's really great news a pop dedicated site is still living.
I assure you it's a great feeling to see the same good old users again.
Remember me ? I used to create some alternate gfx that were included in Starwindz's total pack (That's ok if u don't.).

My question is the following :
Does anyone know in which dat file i can find the chopper+blood graphics/palette ?

Thanks in advance =].

Moved. Also, welcome back!

Just to make something clear: I will not reply to daft PMs like "Where can I find X?" or "Can you give me a link to Y?". Most of your questions are likely answerable if only you took your bloody time to look through these forums and use Google if all else fails. Sheesh...

The graphics is in vdungeon.dat/vpalace.dat, resources 1314-1323.
They're monochrome images and only the fixed version of PR can extract them:

The color is palette entry 12.
Altough palette entries from 0 to 15 come from the hard-coded palette in the EXE file, entries 6 and 12 are overwritten by the game at run-time.

Hi David!

My PR Executor uses the fixed version of PR. I built the PR.DLL with MinGW exporting all the functions using the source code available at your page. 8-)
