Damn, check this out, approximately ten hours ago a meteor entered the atmosphere in Russia.
Hundreds of people injured because of the shock wave (glass broke all over the place).
Bought my first five Steam games just now, for GNU/Linux of course.
In total just 17.46 euros, all of them with the special Linux promotion discount.
World of Goo (2.24 euro), Half-Life 1 (2.49 euro), Penumbra: Black Plague - Gold Edition (1.99 euro), Amnesia: The Dark Descent (3.75 euro) and Postal 2 Complete (6.99 euro).
Don't worry, I'll still be playing the old-school PoP games. In fact, the next apoplexy will be sweet...

Yes, very cheap.
The discount is only until 21 February 10am PST though, so if you want any of these games, better act quick...
I've been playing Amnesia The Dark Descent for a couple of hours already and it's pretty entertaining.

yaqxsw, as promised in the shoutbox, I would show you an example of a spam-related forum post.
Here is one that was posted in the Dungeons of Hell thread today:
It contains sentences from here and here.
That's why it is Prince of Persia related and appears to be a genuine post.
However, if we'd keep it on the forum, after a while the post would be automatically altered by a bot to contain spam.

60 fps (frames per second) makes video SO much cooler.
I already knew this, but every time I see 60 fps footage I can't help but be excited about it.
See for example: http://red.cachefly.net/learn/action-60fps.mp4
Every time I see 60 fps footage I realize how crappy basically every single digital movie out there currently is.
Doesn't matter whether it's streaming, like YouTube, or a download.
Once you've seen 60 fps, you really don't want anything else anymore...
I was just reading that apparently there's a mobile game called Puzzle & Dragons that is being played by 10% of the Japanese population and even though the game is free, it allows players to make in-game purchases, and the creators of the game are said to be making 2 million dollars A DAY. Beats the 0.3 million a day that Notch was making with Minecraft...
They're also introducing Family Sharing, apparently.
Could be interesting for some folks. I hope we'll see the Steam Box(es) soon.

I'm going to put on-line my PoP related videos on another website than YouTube.
Not sure where and how, it's something I'm going to think about the next couple of days.
I've removed all my videos from YouTube because I'm fed up with Google's continuing efforts to force Google+ upon me/their users.
I had two YouTube accounts and I've deleted both (inc. all videos).
