Re: MININIM updates
I recorded a video n what happens. (Attached in zip) This is what I do: First I choose my guard type. GUARD in the video. Then I choose my style. Then I choose the start position. Then I press "P" to place the guard and the game freezes for a second and then crashes. (You can notice the f...

Re: MININIM updates
Hmm...for some reason, the game crashes when I try to place a guard in a level. Maybe I'm doing it wrong. Help? :? The game should never crash. If it does, then it's certainly a bug! Could you give a step by step recipe to reproduce the failure? Screenshots? Anything else you might find relevant?

Re: MININIM updates
Wow! So many interesting new features in the latest MININIM! I'm glad you liked it! :) There is so much more in the development version. For instance, the level editor is entirely GUI oriented. Unfortunately it has been almost 2 years since I last worked on it. No worries, however. I'm slowly getti...

Re: MININIM updates
I've contacted you on IRC (#mininim, you were present), with public and private inquiries on this forum (you have visited since), and via email. Sorry I didn't reply. I'm very busy learning the necessary skills to ensure my future ability to dedicate most of my time to MININIM development, in a def...

Congratulations on your new release!

Re: Your thoughts on adding a playtest pop-up with options?
For example, should apoplexy ship with SDLPoP and MININIM, and if not - for instance to always have recent versions, should users manually add them or should there be an auto-download option (download from where? with scripts that ship with apoplexy? or should there be buttons in-program?). I'd rul...

Re: MININIM updates
But does not show if 1 pedal tile opens 2 or 3 gate? What tells you about this is the next field status of the respective event, shown next to the event number in the "EVENT->CON" item, as an "N" in case that event triggers the next one, "-" otherwise. Please, see sect...

Re: MININIM updates
Question? How to see properties of a tile pedal what lattice or a door it opens? There are such keys? Take a look at this chart: http://forum.princed.org/viewtopic.php?f=127&t=4056#p21467 Proceed this way: Press F8 to enable the level editor (or click anywhere on the game screen); Press C to en...

Re: Random off-topic stuff
It seems things are going too fast (exponentially to be exact), as expected. Soon the only reason to put our humble human dedication on many projects won't be their practical value but rather an emotional one: enjoying what is being done and feeling good about what has been done.

IG1x9rJjYh8 I made a chorus loop for "Flesh for Fantasy" (by Billy Idol). It helps me relax and feel motivated while coding. The audio track is perfectly symmetrical. Just make a meta-loop and it will seamlessly go on and on and on forever... (Just in case someone is interested in uploadi...

Re: MININIM updates
At 9:00-9:30, you speak about putting more stars onto the sky, but I don't see any... That might be because the video plays only in 360p. That's probably the case, because stars are only 1 pixel wide. The quality selection menu shows only three options: Automatic, 360p, and a link to this: https://...
