Ugh. I tried playing the mod yesterday. Didn't put much time into it, as it was late at night, but I was unable to advance more than a single room in Level 1 for now. Goes to show how rusty I've become...

Re: Prince of Wateria
Holy shit, this looks like it's gonna be the most comprehensive mod since Repetition of Time! Of course, this will probably have to be banned from any modding contest, since it'd take no effort for it to win everytime. Anyway, how complete is it so far? Considering you're not gonna release it until ...

I got Win7, so I guess I'm gonna give this a spin. Looks really promising. Comin' back when I'm done. Edit: Sigh... I wish I could give a rave review on this program, but even I am getting an error. Not quite the same as Norbert's, but nevertheless... http://oi45.tinypic.com/9atf90.jpg And this is w...

Я нет. Я немец, и мой русский очень плохо. Почему я даже написал это пост...?

Re: POP cutscene animations
A friend of mine made a video of some of the different ports' Game Over scenes, including the Apple II, for which I supplied him with the footage. cJmORY7Qpts Skip to 5:53 for the Game Over. If it's three disks then it must be a 'cracked' copy, a logical choice for running under an emulator. (The or...

Re: POP cutscene animations
Ah man, it's a shame I never even got to see that scene when I first beat the game (I had a bit more than 20 minutes left at the end, I remember). I have an Apple II emulator and the disk images here, so I always had a mind of playing through the Apple II version, now, after reading tacosalad's trip...

Re: Integer overflow bug
On level 8, if you pushed the first guard onto the door switch during a sword fight it would (naturally) open the door. If you then struck down the guard so he fell onto the switch you would hear the sound of other doors opening[...] "The" door switch? Does it work with any button or only...

[...] almost running out of time. To be more precise, the alternate cutscene plays when you have 5 minutes or less left on the clock. In CusPoP, the cutscene bears the name "Princess waiting 2", as opposed to just "Princess waiting". I found out about it through PsychedelicEyeba...

Re: Guards & Skills
I don't know which types the skeleton and shadow are, [...] This is not to be treated as a fact, but considering the general aggressiveness of the skeleton (or lack thereof), I'd say it has a skill level of either 2 or 3, likely 3. As for the shadow, I'm not sure, as I never really bothered fightin...

Re: Guards & Skills
The skill levels aren't too distinct from each other for the most part. Skill 1: Takes forever to strike, can't block a single attack Skill 2: Slightly more aggressive, blocks the occasional attack, but can't block your parries Skill 3: A bit better than Skill 2, occasionally blocks a parry Skill 4:...

(Was that correct? I'm only learning Russian at school, and I kinda suck at it.) Almost good, but "Добро пожаловать на форум" would be perfectly correct :) BTW, I'm pleased to know that you're studying Russian. Good luck! Ah. Is there a way to know when to use "na" instead of &q...

Ooh, another Russian. Dobro pozhalovat' v forume. (Was that correct? I'm only learning Russian at school, and I kinda suck at it.) If it interests you, Moscow Tracer is also from Russia, and he's a professional PoP1 player. I believe you two might be getting along brilliantly. And don't lose hair ab...
