Re: Birthday Calendar

22 May 1988.

But what happened, actually, to the older posts? I gather it was Butcher who deleted them, but how? and was it methodical or random?

And I see that the old calendar topic is still in existence...

Re: Did anyone finished the game yet ?

I did not play it since my computer has lower capabilities than needed for this game. It did not bother me about Prodigy, but I think I'll suffer a bit for not being able to play the new PoP, at least for some time yet...

Re: Oh my God...

I thought that hitting PrtScrn key would be easier than registering on some crappy website. I agree that it can prove useful sometimes, but not in that particular case: the panorama was 45 Gigapixels, and what I wanted to save of it would have required dozens of Print Screens, so I really thought I...

Re: Grade yourself: Your skill in PoP 1 and 2

According to the description, I selected C, but upon reading your comments, I think I would rather be in the D category, which is fine by me - I never had much interest in mastering this game, and I hardly ever play it any more. But I like it still because it brings back memories of the past.

Re: Oh my God...

If that's the case, then why do they even register here at all if they're not gonna contribute in any way? I think I can answer that question with a personal example. A few days ago I was browsing for pictures with buildings around the world, and I stumbled upon a site with large-resolution panoram...

Re: Hey all

Welcome, Balanced. Indeed active members will help this forum grow and keep the discussions going.* * I agree, it is weird to hear this from me, not really an active member, and moreover one who avoids the discussions in the old-PoP sections; but for those who like the older games, new members are a...

Re: What's your favourite weapon of choice?

I don't know... a pen, maybe? Or a pencil... :) And for what? Write curses on a magic (empty) scroll to read them aloud in order to defeat thine enemies? :P  I haven't thought of that, but it may be a good idea, who could say... wait, I'll just email Harry Potter to find out. Actually I was th...

Re: Top 10 posters on the 10th of March 2010

Here I don't find anything worth saying any more Another "no last century POP game" fellow, eh ? Ha, ha! That made my day, Neogogeta. I'll go to sleep with a smile on my face... though technically you're correct about PoP 1 & 2 being from the last century, to my mind the phrase convey...

Re: Top 10 posters on the 10th of March 2010

Well, it is funny you find things to discuss around here. I remember last time (on PoP-UW) I had around 1800 posts when they closed down, with an average (out the top of my head) of around 6 posts/day*. Here I don't find anything worth saying any more. Whatever, I'm still coming over to see you guys ...

Re: Bored.

I totally agree to programmer. The Dark Tower was a very powerful novel, and I did not even need the computer while I was reading it! And for all the seven volumes that make up the novel, I still thought it was too short.

Re: Spambots and their introductions

A real member who's remotely interested in this forum might easily see this topic, so in that case I would think it all right to go back to his introductory post and add there that he is not a spambot. I doubt real spambots are so intelligent as to be able to do what I have said. So it would be a fa...

Re: i'm just joined

I don't know Dutch, but my guess at what Tristan meant was very, very close to your translation. Don't feel like I have anything against you or somehing of that sort. But I still don't see how you could delete him... after all, you can't have confused him with a bot, right? Because he came here long...

Re: i'm just joined

Now how about that interesting twist of meanings... Your brother, duh. But he apparently deleted himself or something... Weird, but I can buy that. However: I don't think anybody will ban you if you tell the forum who you think deleted your brother's account. But it definitely wasn't me! And then! H...
