Re: POPSnes Dev - Extended game

Sorry a little mistake i made with buttons, now i have fixed, still need to be improved. Replays can get desync. I still can't get replays to work... Oh wait, do I have to press File->Reset in the Replay window first? It's "desync" indeed, because the replay file does not contain any timi...

Re: Math problems

(Say, is this your homework or something?) One is integration problem. Given the function values, how would you determine the function, and how would you calculate the grey surface area using calculus. (I know it's an obvious circle, but I need calculus method). To get the function, you need the equ...

Re: Some funny sounds

PoPUW's problems page now has a section about using Munt with DOSBox: http://popuw.com/problems.html
NOTE: The original ROM code of the MT-32 is in the public domain and can be freely used and distributed.

Is that really so?

salvadorc17 wrote:About replays, can you tell me what does means not seems to work, did you run replay mode to load replay file?

Yes, I did open the Replay Mode window.
But what to do next? Options -> Start -> 1 / 2 / 3 / 4 don't seem to do anything.

Let's see... Each of them translates to a different power during combat...

Re: PoP videos / images

I know it is an old post (not old as in 'very-old'), but I hate seeing questions unreplied. I guess I feel similarly. Especially when I know the answer. That song plays when the credits roll in Prince of Persia Sands of Time. Thank you! ~~~~ Remember the VG Cats ? I found a few other webcomics that...

Re: Custom snes replay format

As I wrote elsewhere , the current replay file format used by POPSnesDev records only arrow keys, and it has no timing information. I can propose you a format based on how SDLPoP replays work. Firstly, replay files should contain a savestate of the moment when recording was started. I see POPSnesDev...

Re: POPSnes Dev - Extended game

Save/Load does not seem to work correctly. I see that Save saves CRAM.bin (Color RAM, aka Palette) and VRAM.bin (Video RAM). This is not enough to fully restore a saved state. You also need to save the state of the CPU (registers), Working RAM, Audio CPU, Audio RAM, PPU registers, DMA registers, etc...

@jmechner Number of times people have played Prince of Persia (DOS) on Internet Archive just passed 1 million. https://archive.org/details/msdos_Prince_of_Persia_1990 … It's not just over 1 million, but the second most played DOS game on the site: https://archive.org/details/softwarelibrary_msdos_g...

Re: Screenshotting and mapmaking

Maybe allow 0 or 15 to screenshot the potions level from the command line? Done: https://github.com/NagyD/SDLPoP/commit/1db0ecba2e2b815f1b6a2bc0b2a4985b08089f89 It's not limited to screenshotting, however. Hmm, maybe there should also be an option to start level 0 (demo) without the automatic moves?
