Suggestion, maybe we should split this thread in two, one with posts about the Settings window, and one with posts about adding a menu bar.
Done.

I just tried this test on my BBC Master version and, although it's hard to pull off the move, it seems to be possible if I'm understanding correctly. I would hope so given that this is running the original Apple II 6502 code without modification!
I also tried it: It works in both directions.

Re: Apple II port to BBC Master computer

I have various branches on the go in the repo - mostly just cascading checkpoints as I embark on a new feature or sticky piece of refactoring. Best to look for the most recent checkins. Ah, the branches. I use them differently: I eventually merge every branch into master. I just implemented double-...

Re: Runen (1996)

Looks like the Runen author wasn't all that worried about copyright violations. Yeah. He even wrote his full address into the text files, (unknowingly?) allowing authorities to track him down, if they want to. If I paste that address into Google Maps or OpenStreetMap, it even finds the exact buildi...

Re: Runen (1996)

Level 8: (completed) Full map of level 8, with annotations: Runen_level_8_annot.png You start this level in a place oddly similar to the PoP2 temple. (And some other parts of the level have the background from the PoP2 ruins.) Beware, lava drips from the ceiling! If you touch it, you lose one HP. Th...

Re: PoP videos / images

I found another picture with the Prince of Persia (PoP1 DOS) hidden among lots of video game characters: https://scepterdpinoy.deviantart.com/art/Happy-National-Video-Game-Day-2017-704088972 He looks quite odd without outlines, because most other characters do have outlines. Maybe it's to match how ...

Level 5: (completed) Full map of level 5: Runen_level_5.png So I was right: I had to take away the ray gun from one skeleton, and it can melt ice blocks. End of level 5. Re: Runen (1996)

Then you end up in the leftmost room, which has a potion in its top-left. The problem is that you cannot drink the potion without first killing the second head, because it follows you. And the main problem with the heads is that they attack not just from the front but also the character's back. I f...

I can post [maps] if anyone is interested.
While I'm not necessarily interested myself, it'd make sense to share them publicly, seeing you already put in the effort and it might potentially be useful to someone some day.
Right, here they are:

Re: The Eternal Castle (1987) - probably fake

Here's another long list: https://web.archive.org/web/20170731204009/http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showthread.php?t=989633 Wow, that's a long list of cinematic platformers! It has PoP, Karateka, games we mentioned on the forum (Cruel World, Zorro, Nosferatu, but not Runen), and some games that I hear...

Re: Runen (1996)

I could get past that guard on level 3. Here is what's there: R50_C46.png Nothing really interesting. Except that a head suddenly appeared from nowhere and killed the kid! So I couldn't go farther. Fighting is so unfair in this game... I'm thinking of skipping this level, since you posted all the le...

Re: The present and future of Pr1SnesLevEd

Above all, I'd say work on something that you feel motivated to work on. Related: the editor is mostly feature-complete, so would other GitHub users feel motivated to work on it even if you'd move away from C++Builder? Also, is it worth the trouble, given that only ~2.5 SNES mods are being created ...
