on pc-98 version i have trouble doing the creep along the ground move. i think it may be emulation related, though, because sometimes i'm able to o it for a few steps, but very rarely.

can you do the ground creep move on pc-98 or fm towns? if so what emulator is used?

Okay the issue with pc98 version is the prince turns around too SOON. if you start from where you are when you climb up, 2 tile jump always works. if you inch up to the edge, it fails. also this may be a fault of the emulator i tried, but it seems to ignore repeated presses of up, making it MUCH har...

tried. you hit wall in tg-16 version.

on fm towns try running all the way into the wall before you jump up. it will probably bring you to an instant stop.

that room is a trap. there is no way to collect that life extender potion and escape. even if you manage to leave the first loose tile, you cannot jump off of it in time to grab the ledge and climb back out. beleive me, i tried.

My opinion is that any bug that does not affect either the original game, or any mod is fair game to fix.

I believe this skeleton behavior is one such bug.

It seems pretty clear that the intent is for the skeleton to survive falls of any distance.

So that should be the behavior.

Combat is mostly stripped down.

Rewind works differently.

Water freezing mechanic is totally abused to heck and back.

Plenty of challenging platforming, mainly because of abuse of that mechanic.
