As near as I can tell, pop3d can no longer be bought new at all. the only new copies are second hand. The amazon links all are for used or 'collectible like new" copies. Since all cds of the game have already been sold once, there is no further profits for the copyright holder to be eaten into,...

I think this game may finally actually be abandonware.

It can no longer be bought new on amazon.

In fact i can't find it anywhere at all for sale, except for some second hand copies on ebay.

Everything Sands of Time or newer is still not abandonware.

on pc-98 version i have trouble doing the creep along the ground move. i think it may be emulation related, though, because sometimes i'm able to o it for a few steps, but very rarely.

can you do the ground creep move on pc-98 or fm towns? if so what emulator is used?

Okay the issue with pc98 version is the prince turns around too SOON. if you start from where you are when you climb up, 2 tile jump always works. if you inch up to the edge, it fails. also this may be a fault of the emulator i tried, but it seems to ignore repeated presses of up, making it MUCH har...

tried. you hit wall in tg-16 version.

on fm towns try running all the way into the wall before you jump up. it will probably bring you to an instant stop.

that room is a trap. there is no way to collect that life extender potion and escape. even if you manage to leave the first loose tile, you cannot jump off of it in time to grab the ledge and climb back out. beleive me, i tried.

Speed change options from the japanese versions. How this works. There is a separate move speed and fight speed coded into the game.
