Hi, There is no bug that I know of on level 15. Can you describe it?
I played it though a few times doing the routes to the switches in different ways and never had a problem.

Re: New snes levels under construction
Time. Don't have it any more. To make anything at least as good as the original graphics would take too long (and even if I was capable in the first place). Nor would I attempt them unless I thought I could at least equal the originals in terms of quality and colour palatte/ colour coordination and ...

Re: New snes levels under construction
Final tweaks made it not work again, but have changed the rom file and it appears to be ok. But want to test again to make sure. Sorry.. I had a really quick glance at those other dos pop1 levels and they appear to be a mish mash of levels in sets that were already released. For example, I remember ...

Re: New snes levels under construction
Hi Norbert, Yep I think we exchanged an email or two ages ago. I just looked through my pop folder. From what I see there is also ecco_Levels05, 07, 11, 15 and 'newLevels1-4'. Not sure if I ever released them or not. If not, it's probably because they were only semi completed sets, which could have ...

Re: New snes levels under construction
No changes, they just didn't work, due to my levels compression issues/ technical complications that he understands and I don't :) But the good news is David has fixed this today, so a massive thanks to him it all seems alright now. The last training level was largely culled to make it work, but it'...

Re: New snes levels under construction
All levels are working and playing correctly, but due to various strange bugs which I don't understand, the intro and ending don't work. If David, the excellent author of this excellent editor, can somehow fix that, then that will be great. If not, then I will have to release it but just without the...

Re: Bugs, with screenshots
Hi- I tried a new order of importing the levels this time. Did a few at a time and tested, etc. Good news is that on this current attempt, it all seems ok-ish, with no obvious gameplay issues, though still getting the Resource on save issue, and though certain graphics are out of place. The bad news...

Re: Bugs, with screenshots
Thanks David. I'm away for the next day or two, so I'll try and sort out a rom and exported levels to send you at the end of the week or weekend. For your info I was originally using the Japanese rom, but it's the same issue when I imported the whole lot into a UK one too. Sometimes the intro logo f...

Bugs, with screenshots
Hi David, I've been getting glitches in my edited levels, and it's getting to the point where the levels can't be completed (will explain futher down). I'm not sure if it's one bug in one level which is affecting everything, or little glitches from many levels are compounded to make it worse and wor...

Re: New snes levels under construction
I'm 90% sure I will be able to release the levels next weekend. Was never happy with level 1 so redesigned that last night. Playing through the full set now, and keep finding small errors and other tweaks to make. Done half of them but I have to stop for today. Also to check it can be done in the ti...

Re: New snes levels under construction
All levels finally designed and implemented and gameplay/ links etc working
Only thing remaining is to do some tidy up, namely half of the levels still need the bricks and backgrounds to be tiling properly.

Some Level 5 background graphic change in game
Hi, when I edit level 5 in the editor, and select the usual background bricks, everything looks normal. But in the game, they have changed to the blue sky. Does anyone know why this is? For the level I just had to swap the plain bricks for the one with the stripe running through (middle level in the...
