Re: PoP 1 Sprites Conversion Tool

Thank you very much for your great tool, SpritesConversionTool! :) I have two questions and request for your work. 1. Can I include your tool(including modified version) to the next version of Total Pack? 2. Could you please explain the detailed algorithm of following two functions? I would like to...

Re: News roundup

I think my Roku port/remake worth mention, it was months of development, and I have the full game implemented even with support for mods created by the community.

Re: PoP videos / images

I posted on MININIM forum a pixel art piece I made of its logo. Now I created a timelapse of another piece with the kid sprite from PoP 2.

PS. I know, I know, I have to get another song for my PoP related videos ;)

I saw this on a Video Game convention I attended in Phoenix early this year. But I could not found any PoP related art. As my wife is a craft artist she gave me some initial kit as my Christmas gift :)

MININIM logo as melty beads Pixel Art

I'm learning to make perler "melty" beads pixel art, and decided to do something with PoP to test some colors before a bigger PoP project I have. Here is the result: https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/VnPkHTHi8s9126wWN_wfyWOw4NlB6uzsUbBhFQWrGByJYkt9qoyTnaG60RKAkTz9u5xty-MMQfsreeEvVclmg0-pRm...

Re: Prince of Persia port for Roku streaming box

At 3:40, do I see a standing jump over a 4-tile pit? You saw right, it is a bug that I left as a "trick". The limitation we have with the remote control, not being able to press two keys at the same time for more than 1 frame, makes very hard to make some run-jump-hang moves, so besides t...

Re: Prince of Persia port for Roku streaming box

Congratulations, it looks polished. So, is this something you'll be able to make into a Roku channel? I did search this and didn't find your PoP. Maybe unofficial channels can only be found using a Roku? Thanks Norbert, have you found your name in the video? The channels can be published as public ...

Re: PoP 1 Sprites Conversion Tool

Good work with this, now the question will be if you want to expand engine with snes features... I was thinking exactly about that (don't tell my wife, she "loves" my nights working on PoP) :) I'm about to release the "Feature Complete" v0.12 this week, and will work on improvin...

Re: Podcast episode about Prince of Persia remakes

I wonder why is there a link to "Open Letter to Hobbyists"... This was a citation of one of our co-hosts during the episode, he was making the parallel between the Open Source movement and the "Software Market", showing they pretty much started at the same period of history. Too...

Podcast episode about Prince of Persia remakes

Guys, I just wanted to let you know that I have a podcast (in portuguese) about software development and today's episode brings an interview we did with Bruno "oitofelix" discussing about the development process of his project MININIM and a little bit also about my own project for Roku. We...
