MININIM's level editor schematic chart

The artist Gutxi Haitz designed a very nice schematic chart that documents MININIM's level editor functionality. It's dual-licensed under CC BY SA 4.0 and GNU FDL v1.3+ and has been made available at MININIM's website under AI, PDF and JPG formats. https://github.com/oitofelix/mininim/releases/downl...

Just for the record, I did notice that.

Re: Why the sudden interest?

It seems that there were more PoP-remakes in the past few years than before that. Why the (seemingly) sudden interest in remaking PoP? There are probably so many things that play a role in this big puzzle that one could write a book about it. :) Speaking for myself, consciously at least, I can't re...

Re: MININIM updates

Hi!, It seems, you wanted to finish that files of loading of levels were saved?! Why do you say that? Or there will be other format of files? MININIM is going through a transition right now. Those INI files (for configuration and native level format) won't be used anymore by the next release. Lua s...

Re: MININIM updates

Ctrl+G shows only *.sav files, but Ctrl+L shows all files. That's because save files are a particular case of configuration files. Where the .MCF files are saved----? they are absent after preservation?! Files are saved in the folder you choose using the dialog box. Initially the user settings fold...

Great! MININIM doesn't require more than that. ;)

Re: Compilation problem.

Of course! ;) Thanks! :) Giving "bt", returns this: [...] As GDB says, it seems the stack has been corrupted, what makes the backtrace useless. And now :?: How are you exiting MININIM? Sending a SIGINT (Ctrl+C at its terminal REPL)? Pressing Ctrl+Q? Closing its window? Are you familiar wi...

Re: Compilation problem.

In case you prefer another debugger, or giving any advanced commands, just tell me. Thanks for the report. However, it only shows the specific location of the crash (for which no debugging symbols are available). Could you please issue a "bt" command to get a backtrace right after the cra...

Re: Ataa's Levelset

I thought it was a manually created compilation because the graphics look bad. It looks like a low quality JPEG, like something is wrong with the interpolation. Maybe there's an Allegro setting that will make the result better? In that case MININIM's virtual screen had a resolution of 1280x800 (4x4...

Re: Ataa's Levelset

This mod does use minimin custom data?? why show that firts image.. The image was probably created manually, by stitching together screenshots. YURA is using MININIM's multi-room feature. Look at how the bottom line doesn't have a full-width black band and how it's scaled up in relation to each roo...

Re: Compilation problem.

I'm only getting a segmentation fault, when exiting. Could you recompile it with debugging enabled (passing "--enable-debug" option to the configure script) and get a backtrace? I made a small research and seems like many people consider (for complex and sophisticated projects, like this ...

1) "#apt-get build-dep allegro5" (shouldn't it be apt-get install) is not possible to complete, because there aren't such packages on repositories. You can search for Debian packages here: https://www.debian.org/distrib/packages#search_packages Here is Debian Jessie's allegro5 source pack...

Re: Compilation problem.

Hi! :D Hello Giorgos! Bootstrap and configuration completed succesfully, but making gave me the error: src/mininim.h:72:21: fatal error: lauxlib.h: no such file or directory #include <lauxlib.h> ^ compilation terminated. Any opinion what that means :?:  Have you installed liblualib50-dev? That...
