Re: Lvl 1 guard bug

Also, your replays don't really want to work. When I try to watch them, the screen is filled with random objects (always new ones) and the kid moves around a little and then dies as there are many holes in the ground, spikes, etc. They work fine for me. :? (SDLPop 1.23 Windows). Do you use the same...

Re: Lvl 1 guard bug

Here are two SDLPop (1.23) recordings of me pulling off the trick, one after dropping down along with the loose floor, and the other after climbing down after the loose floor already fell.

This is what I followed (Tutorial made for DOS, so it doesn't seem like there's any SDLPop bugs):

Re: Various

I recently realized that the PoP1 for SNES ending animations, after the ending text, are customly generated in real-time, using the mod's rooms. For instance, with Hell of a Palace , the prince drinks a potion instead of picking up a sword. I haven't checked, but I guess this means some mods might ...

Re: Infinite Adventure (Under development)

I am currently thinking on how to implement gates. When I wrote the algorithm, I thought of placing gates in the main path, and its switch in the branching rooms. But the switch shouldn't be placed too far away (making the level impossible), or too close (making that section of the level easy) to th...

Re: PoP videos / images

PS. I know, I know, I have to get another song for my PoP related videos ;) Actually, this is the first time I hear this song... So what is it, anyway? Midomi says: title: Time Only Knows artist: Stuart Chatwood And Amazon also tells that: album: Prince of Persia Trilogy (Original Game Soundtracks)...

But if you focus too hard, you can see that the balls don't quite rebound off the sides or other balls as they should.

Re: Names of SNES level types

Not to mention that men are said to know fewer color names than women. Mentioned for example in this color name finder: http://chir.ag/projects/name-that-color/ Perhaps because women are better at distinguishing colours? http://news.nationalgeographic.com/news/2012/09/120907-men-women-see-different...
