Re: Snes Mod: Miracles Don't Exist

Levels with 2 lives are 5, 7 (counting the one which steals the shadow guy), and 14. Makes me happy when players say "I like playing your mod" :D I found the potion that the shadow steals, but I didn't mention it since you don't get to drink it :p not to mention you get trapped if you go ...

Re: Snes Mod: Miracles Don't Exist

Oh, but I said you could PM me, and I would have given to you a password. Level 1 doesn't have a life potion, I told it ;) . In level 8 you have to guess where is it. It is on the left of the screen in the part that you have to go up. Level 9 has the life potion when you're at beginning of the brid...

Re: Snes Mod: Miracles Don't Exist

I hadn't kept track of how many life bottles I collected because after that glitch occured, I used a password from GameFAQS to continue from the same level but the password changed my life count. Making a second playthrough, I found one potion on every level except 1, 8, 9, and 10, a few of which I ...

Re: Snes Mod: Miracles Don't Exist

Well, I just finished playing. Great work on the mod - it's very professional. Good difficulty and puzzles too. My only complaint is that I found the life potions a bit too easy to find in most levels. Oh, and I echo the previous poster - it's awesome to see more SNES mods, since this is my favourit...

Re: Snes Mod: Miracles Don't Exist

I'm stuck! In level 15, the portal marked "o" transports me to the exact same room, except it makes the guard (dead or alive) vanish.

Otherwise, I've been quite enjoying the hack so far!

Re: Prince of Persia: Dungeons of Hell (Snes Mod)

what are levels do you say that there are holes where you are trapped? I can't remember offhand, I'll have to check. I do remember one part where you can drop down to get a super potion, but you need to go down and open a gate first, with a gold skeleton guarding it. If you drop down w/o opening th...

Re: SNES Mod: The Quiet Levels

I used a hex editor and modified some offsets in the music area. To do this: 1) Remove the ROM header. Refer to http://forum.princed.org/viewtopic.php?f=63&t=3069 for help. 2) Change the values of these two offsets: x1136B to $32 x1136E to $01 Ah, thanks! I wanted to know because I recreated th...

Re: Prince of Persia: Dungeons of Hell (Snes Mod)

Great mod! A suggestion, if I may: There are some parts where it's possible to be trapped with no way out, such as some pits - I would put spikes in them or make them deep enough for a deadly fall, as you can't restart a level from the beginning unless you die, though that's not really a problem wit...

Re: SNES Mod: The Quiet Levels

(to the mod's author) Just curious, how did you disable the battle music? I know how to disable the level music via the snes level editor, but not the battle music...

Re: Mac PoP emulation

I've done it succesfully with BasiliskII, but not using the Total Pack version. Unfortunately, I don't have the emulator with my config now, so I can't help you. But yes. It can be done. Ah, I assumed since it didn't work on Total Pack's Basilisk, it wouldn't work on the regular one. I shall have t...

Mac PoP emulation

Has it ever been done successfully? I've tried playing PoP for Mac both via Total Pack (Basilisk II), and through SheepShaver, and no matter which emulator I use, with various settings, the sound it always terribly butchered. I really want to be able to rip the music because the Mac version's soundt...

Hello

New person here. I joined mainly to discuss classic PoP (1 and to a smaller extent 2) and to be able to ask some questions about the games and mods. I don't know how often I will post as I am not very talkative, but hopefully I can contribute in some small way.
